People ask authors all the time where they get their ideas. Most of the time, we have no clue. But there are other stories.
Sometimes I include food as part of the story. Sometimes it's actually something I know how to make and it's special enough to share.
Way back in my personal dark ages, I read a lot of Jennifer Crusie's books. She always incorporated music in her stories and I loved that. T. S. Eliot once said that “good writers borrow, great writers steal.” Since I'm shooting for great...
Often the music was what I was listening to as I wrote the book. Music that made me think of my characters or what they were going through. It often seeped into the story itself. I've included a list of songs that go with each book, plus a link to Tunes so you can have it, too!
I know I've included samples of the stories on the book page, but I wanted to let you see more of my book-length stories. I intend to share the first chapter or two of these stories, but this is a work in progress at the moment, so I'll be adding more over time. I hope you enjoy them.
